Applicant
Leaders of research groups from two institutions in Europe, one of which must be from Germany (university, university of applied sciences, Max-Planck-Institute, Helmholtz Institute, or similar), involved in a cooperation project.
Funding
Funding is provided for one visit of the group leaders and up to three additional representatives from one institution to visit the cooperation partner within 12 months. The other participants should ideally be younger members of the applicant’s group (PhD students, postdocs).
In addition to personal discussions, a mini-symposium should be organized at each institution on site, open to students and members of other research groups.
The mobility funding covers up to our participants per institution, i.e., the applicant plus up to three staff members (PhD students, postdocs).
Additional funding, e.g., for consumables, insurance of any kind, etc., is not provided.
Requirements
Research and science related to the understanding of protease systems, particularly in the context of malignant diseases, and the associated biological factors and mechanisms.
Timeframe
The evaluation of the application by the HENNER-GRAEFF Foundation is expected to take up to 2 months. If approved, the mobility support must be used within 12 months, with at least a 4-month gap between the visits. A final report must be submitted two months after the mobility support ends, which should include:
The scientific data obtained by each participant during the visit to the host institution,
The program of the mini-symposia, including titles and speakers,
A description of other activities on site
A brief project summary on the progress of the cooperation between the two institutions.
